Welcome to HotelGuide.Networks' directory of hotels and hotel reviews for Molokai, Hawaii!

Of all the Hawaiian islands, Molokai -- nicknamed the "Friendly Isle" -- best reflects the idyllic Hawaii most widely depicted in films, travelogues, commercials, and other promotionals. Kaunakakai, the 260-square-mile island's largest town, also has most of the shops, typically small and family-owned, with other natural souvenir buying opportunities in villages of Maunaloa and Kualapu'u. Magnetic appeal ranges from exploration of mountainous coastline from the back of a mule to fishing, hike through rainforest and touring coffee plantations or a macademia nut farm. Molokai lodging ranges from upscale camping or vacation condo rentals to family-owned bed and breakfasts or inns, and small luxury hotels.

We have organized our listings of Molokai's local hotel accommodations into several geographic areas and alphabetically. You can begin browsing for hotels in the Greater Molokai area by selecting one of the links shown below.

Area Facts: Kalaupapa, a small, isolated peninsula on the north side of Molokai, was a rough, rocky and inaccessible area where migrant workers in the 1800s stricken with leprosy (now called Hansen's Disease) were abandoned. Leprosy was eradicated with sulpha drugs in the 1940s, and this area is now a National Historic Site of the U.S. Park Service where access is available only through a limited number of escorted tours. The area code for the Hawaiian Islands is 808.
